So, this is your first time?
Whether your first visit is with a friend or you come by yourself, we want your first experience here at Hillside Bible Baptist Church to be nothing short of awesome. So, in case you have any questions, let’s try to answer some of them right off the bat.
How should I dress?
Your comfort is key. If you feel dressing up casually, then feel free to do so. If you want to wear jeans and a tee-shirt, that’s perfect! As the Bible says, “…and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.” (John 6:37)
I have kids. Do you have anything for them?
Absolutely! However old they are, we have a class for them! We also have a nursery to watch over your newborn!
Okay, I’m here! Where do I go?
You made it! Just find an open spot in our parking lot and come right in through the front door where you’ll be greeted by deacons and members of the church in the foyer. From there, proceed to where we have our service, find a seat and take a load off.
What’s the service like?
Our service starts off with an opening prayer praising our Lord. From there, we further praise him with song. The Bible says, “Make a joyful noise unto the Lord, all ye lands. Serve the Lord with gladness: come before his presence with singing” (Psalm 100:1-2). Children are then dismissed to class and the pastor will deliver the weekly message, preaching from God’s Word and how you can live it out in your daily life.
What kind of services do you have and when do they start?
• We have two services on Sunday: 9:00 am and 10:30 am.
• Teen Bible study is also on Sunday at 9:00 am and 10:30 am.
• Children’s Sunday school begins at 9:00 am.
• Children’s Chapel begins at 10:30 am.
• On Wednesdays, adult Bible study and Kidztown (ages 4-11) start at 7:00 pm.
